Dr. Matthew Vogt

Regenerative Orthopedic Medicine • Bone Health Consultant

Dr. Matthew Vogt is a board-certified family medicine physician with fellowship certification in sports medicine.  He specializes in both regenerative orthopedic medicine and bone health, and he is a member of IIMHE (International Institute for Musculoskeletal Health Education). Recognizing the need for the accurate assessment of bone health, Dr. Vogt was among the earliest adopters of Echolight REMS bone density scanning in the United States. He is the cofounder of OsteoSmart, founder of SmartLife Medicine, and Medical Director of True Path Imaging, based in Hinsdale, Illinois. His primary focus at OsteoSmart is to help his patients understand their true bone health through REMS bone density scans. He incorporates non-pharmaceutical treatment methods in the management of osteoporosis by taking advantage of the body's own healing and repair mechanisms and by promoting sound nutrition, supplementation, and load-bearing exercise. Dr. Vogt is committed to providing exceptional and innovative care.

Dr. Nick Birch has over 35 years of experience in musculoskeletal and spinal health. He introduced REMS to the UK in 2018 and now leads a successful nationwide bone health service. An author of 36 scientific papers and past Spinal Editor of the Bone & Joint Journal, he is widely recognized for his proactive, preventive approach to bone and spinal

Marsha Samuels is an entrepreneur, strategic operations consultant, and collaboration architect with more than 30 years of leadership spanning financial services, tax strategy, and integrative healthcare. After founding and successfully leading a financial advisory and mortgage brokerage firm, she transitioned into healthcare consulting—bringing rigorous business discipline, operational excellence, and systems thinking to modern medical practices.


Her work in healthcare became deeply personal when she discovered advanced, radiation-free bone health technology that had a profound impact on her own health. Recognizing the critical gaps in early detection, patient education, and proactive assessment, she founded OsteoScan USA in 2025. The organization is dedicated to advancing proactive bone health through innovative diagnostic solutions and empowering individuals to take ownership of their long-term skeletal and metabolic health.
